Brett with "Gordy"Brett Easterday comes to Consummate K-9 Training with more than twelve years experience training and handling dogs. He recently left the Air Force after serving as Security Forces K-9 handler/trainer with narcotics and explosives detection dogs; during which time he served two tours in the Middle East. Over the years he has worked closely with many civilian police agencies and government branches such as the Secret Service, US Marshals, DEA and US Customs.
Not only is Brett an expert in training working dogs, but he is also an expert with behavior and aggression problems. He uses this to successfully help dog owners regain control of their companions and homes. He enjoys training all breeds and types of dogs: companion, working, therapy, and assistance and helping their owners in the process. He believes that training a dog requires training the owner as well and makes sure that both have the knowledge and skills to continue with the training once they are back at home.
Brett currently resides in Allentown with his wife, Lynette, daughter, Brynn, and two dogs, Riley and Gordy. Riley is a fetch-loving rescue he found while stationed in Guam. Gordy is a social and energetic Belgian Malinois trained in personal and home protection.
