Off Leash Obedience
When basic obedience is completed and you wish to continue training for absolute off leash control of your dog in any situation or environment we will show you how to do it quickly and effectively. This will be accomplished in group lessons.
You will learn how to drop your dog into a down at distance. Recall your dog to come from a play session, participate in our team relay races, musical chairs, and work in tandem as one synchronized group. These are just some of the advanced training techniques we have found to be very helpful and not the boring same old thing.
Our staff has come up with some quite interesting, exciting, and fun exercises you won’t find anywhere else. This will include an environment under heavy distraction, for example, balls being thrown during the recall command or a cat in the training field. Just like real life. Many times our trainers will try to call your dog after you have told them to down and stay. Remember your dog should listen to you, not us!
For you, our off leash clients, we do not limit you to a number of lessons as most other training programs you will find. We encourage you to achieve the desired level of control you wish to have. We have many clients that return a year or more after their graduation just to participate, get a tune up and join in the fun.
