The staff at Consummate K-9 Training has been an evolution of change over the last 2 decades. Before the Internet.
Many of you early clients, pre-1992 will be able and have been following the evolution, We have had high level Schutzhund trainers, and even a judge on the pay roll to teach and help you in your dog endeavors. We have had current and retired Law enforcement on staff. We have had horse trainers that had a knack for canine behavior on staff. We have had a Bomb dog handler that did two tours in the middle east on staff. We have had Search and Rescue K-9 specialists and trainers on staff. We have had Vet Techs on staff; not to mention Veterinarians on call. We have had apprentices on staff at any given time over the course of the inception of Consummate K-9 Training. We have many successful trainers that have worked with us that are out there doing the right thing with their own dog businesses. We also have associates throughout the country that will help you with you K-9 needs. One thing we do not have on staff is people that do not understand canine behavior, as well as human behavior, regarding dogs. To hold a position with Consummate K-9 you must be on your 'A' game, period.
The only thing that hasn't changed is that Dave Balmat has never left since he started the business. Through spinal fusions, dislocations, and failed relationships, he remains a constant. Always there to help and guide you through the magnificent achievements you make as well as the horrible times when you lose your loved companion or K9 partner. Although Dave is still here, look for the next generation of staff members and new facilities and programs throughout the country.
